Here goes my first official blog post!! I am so excited to share the beautiful couples and families I photograph with everyone and also give you a glimpse into my life. First off, I want to introduce you to this little crew of mine; the ones God so graciously made just for me to spend everyday of my life with and they make my heart full every.single.day!
I love Bible verses and quotes, so I plan to share alot of them along the way. Repeat this one to yourself several times “I will hold myself to a standard of grace not perfection.” This quote is now sitting on my desk (in beautiful gold foil) on a little easel thanks to Emily Ley‘s amazing designs and the words that came out of her heart a few years ago! I am reminded each and everyday that my life is not about perfection, but about grace that God has so graciously given each and every one of us. There is no perfection in this little family of mine, so don’t let the cute faces and smiles deceive you; however, we are full of life and full of love and full of joy and I am forever thankful for that!

And then there is this guy! We’ve been married for 12 years (wow!!) and I love him more and more every day! He has a heart for Jesus and that’s what I love most about him! As I started praying for my future husband many years ago, I always prayed for someone who would be a spiritual leader for my family and one who would be an awesome husband and dad; I also prayed for him to have knowledge and wisdom (I really wanted both)…. my prayers were answered in God’s perfect timing and I’m so thankful I get to spend everyday with him. I could really write a big long paragraph about how awesome he is, but I’ll just leave it at this…. He encourages me daily, he makes me be a better person, he loves me and our children and he truly is awesome and I’m glad I get to call him mine!!
Have a sweet day!!
Truly,
Candace
